My beautiful bride Lauren is a high-profile stylist and the founder of Excess Granted, a curated shopping experience that features everything from designers and clothing to jewelry and accessories. So naturally, this highly savvy fashion intuitive bride designed her own wedding dress! Lauren’s bridal gown featured long flowy sleeves, heaps of pearl detailed embellishment, and soft floating layers. Add in meticulously created feminine details and you have a gorgeous gown that complimented Lauren in every way possible.

Once Lauren was dressed for the day, we were off to meet Griff for an intimate first look. The amount of love and emotion in Lauren & Griff’s eyes when they set sight on each other for the first time that day is so telling of the connection they share. You’ll get to see their sweet embrace in the photos below!

The couples wedding day focused on creating European-inspired details that worked to give their guests an impeccable experience. Before the ceremony began, Lauren & Griff’s guests enjoyed spritzers as they grabbed parasols and took their seats in anticipation of the couple’s nuptials.

The bride and groom’s ceremony was officiated by the groom’s brother with the ceremony focusing heavily on the couple’s spirituality. Lauren and Griff then read handwritten vows to each other before making their way down the aisle together, hand in hand, as husband and wife!

After they were pronounced, Lauren and Griff’s guests were treated to cocktail hour with refreshing signature drinks and small bites. Meanwhile, they took this time to be with one another and work with me to capture their portraits. The level of ease and comfort they have with each other made shooting them on their wedding day an utter dream! Every hand hold, every kiss, every embrace, was magic.
