Samantha Hiller is a special bride for me. You see I photographed her lovely sister KiKi’s wedding a little over a year ago. It was a 2-day event and got to know the family pretty well.  Sam + Drew were so cute at the wedding. They were not engaged yet but it was pretty obvious that day was just around the corner.  When I got the call about photographing their wedding this year my heart just exploded. There is no bigger compliment than when someone has experienced a wedding weekend with you, received the full gallery, and decided they want to work with you. I just love it!  Sam + Drew are my spontaneous couple, they text me on Wednesday and said “can we fly into LA from Arizona and shoot our engagement photos this weekend?” I just love that. With only 2 days to plan for your shoot that doesn’t give you that much time to stress right? Sam went shopping and text me a photo of a few dresses. This white dress was one of them and boy and I glad we went with this dress. OMG, it photographs so well. The designer is ALC here is the link for the dress. I am actually ordering it today for myself because it’s a classic and this is a dress you can wear a hundred times. Her hat is Lack of Color Here is the link for it.  I was thrilled that Sam + Drew were able to bring the whole family.  Little Dash won my heart the minute I met him and was the best little boy during our shoot.  Mav, the fur baby did a great job too. I knew going into the shoot we needed to capture family photos as well as engagement photos. We had a few obstacles, like the wind and chasing the light but in the end, it turned out perfectly.  A few of my favorite shots are the black and white of all four of them walking in the field + the super fun moment of Sam, Drew, + Dash at the beach.  Ya’ll I love my job so much. When you think about it.
