Fitness Friday Tone it Up State of Mind
Happy Fitness Friday y’all! I hope everyone had the best Thanksgiving ever! I had a great day and even added in an extra 20 min workout while I was boiling potatoes 🙂 I have always had anxiety surrounding holidays and special events because I know there will be so much fun and alcohol and I do not want to repeat past mistakes and just go nuts during the holiday season. A custom workout bag! It includes Fit Protein powder , Vitamins, armbands, a measuring tape and a fitness journal. It was exactly what I needed to remind me that I can work out in my backyard, the living room, the beach, really anywhere. So I used these armbands yesterday to complete a bonus 20 min workout. I timed myself for 4 fine minute intervals. I did bicep curls, over the head triceps extensions, and leg extensions all with the band. To get my heart rate up for the last-minute of each interval I did mountain climbers.
Exercising before I starting cooking put me in the right Tone It Up mindset. I had the confidence to not overeat or over drink yesterday . I just took a few selfies as I am leaving for the beach. As you can see I am taking my bag so I can excercise at the beach. I have to say today is the best I have ever felt after Thanksgiving. I do not feel tired or guilty and I am not skipping out on my workout to have leftovers I am putting my health and fitness first and I hope you all do what makes your heart happy today!
