Your engagement session is right around the corner and your Pinterest board may be all over the place with different ideas you have for the shoot. Do you both have a cool hobby you want to spotlight? Do you want something cutesy? Do you both want to unleash your inner Bond and Money Penny? Trying to land on a theme for your engagement session can be difficult let alone figuring out which props would be appropriate! Your engagement photos should showcase your relationship together and give a personal insight into your lives. Like many things in life, you should keep props simple and use them in moderation.

Here are 3 of my favorite props I’ve used in my engagement sessions!

Beach Cruiser

This is for the active couple! These two live and work by the beach so bike riding has been a favorite past time of theirs!

Vespa

When I see a Vespa, one word comes to mind. COOL! How fun would it be to scoot along a beautiful neighborhood or the beach with your partner in crime on two wheels?!

Vintage Car

Using a vintage car in your engagement session is always a fun one! Whether you already own the car or will be renting one, adding a vintage ride can convey the two of you as weekend warriors cruising down the PCH or showing how classy and posh you feel inside!

Just remember when picking out props for your engagement session, they should reflect the two of you as a couple. This is the time to capture your excitement and love for one another!
