Vibrant Villa Cimbrone Wedding on the Amalfi Coast
This Vibrant Villa Cimbrone Wedding had it all! Gorgeous bridesmaid’s dresses, epic views of the Amalfi Coast, and a bride and groom who are insanely in love!
Y’all! I cannot even begin to put into words, how gorgeous Villa Cimbrone is! It is everything you would expect of an elegant Italian villa, and more! Villa Cimbrone was constructed in the 12th century and the original architectural and stone features have been well preserved and can still be seen at the villa today. As part of its rich past, the villa played host to the aristocracy and noblemen of its time. Today, Villa Cimbrone hosts weddings full of elegance and vibrancy. Which is exactly how I would describe Marisa & Cyrus’s wedding day!
My beautiful bride and groom worked with their planner to create a wedding day experience for themselves and their guests. If you’re having a destination wedding in a beautiful location like the Amalfi Coast is there any other way to about it?!
Their wedding ceremony took place in the gardens of Villa Cimbrone. In the center of the aisle resides a historic stone “wishing well”. The bridal party made their way down the aisle in pairs, lifting their clasped hands over the well as they approached the altar. When it was time for Marisa to make her way toward her groom, something truly magical happened. Although they already had a first look, Cyrus was overcome with joy at the sight of his gorgeous bride. He took out his cell phone to get a birds-eye view photo of Marisa, making her way to him! I mean really, how sweet is that?!
During their ceremony, Marisa & Cyrus delighted their guests with an Italian wedding day tradition!
Guests were passed trays of Bomboniere to enjoy! Bomboniere is a small dessert presented or passed to guests during an Italian wedding. It’s the couple’s way of presenting a small gift to their guests as a way of thanking them for their attendance. How much do you love that?
During their reception, Marisa & Cyrus’s guests enjoyed breathtaking views of the waters of the Amalfi Coast. All while enjoying an exquisite candlelight dinner paired with Italian wine. Marisa and Cyrus then spent the night on the dance floor in each other’s arms to the sounds of live music, while fireworks went off behind them and guests were served fresh Gelato! From the color palette to the wedding ceremony and every detail of their reception, Marisa & Cyrus’s Villa Cimbrone Wedding was unforgettable!
