Summertime is here so that means I’m set setting all over the coast of California all the way to New York City and beyond. A few weeks ago I was called to New York to photograph an engagement session. As many of you may know, I have a deep love for New York and I’m always excited to come back for a visit! There is something so romantic about this place!  After my awesome stay at Kimpton Seafire Resort in the Cayman Islands earlier this summer (see that post here!), I knew I needed to scope out another property! This time I booked a room for my hubby and I at the sleek New York City getaway Kimpton Ink48 Hotel overlooking the Hudson River.   Let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The attention to detail their designers have placed on each property amazes me. The guest rooms are sleek and trendy with oversized windows to take in that NYC skyline! One of my favorite details is the way their breakfast bar menu was designed. I fell in love with the typeface and the placement didn’t make it feel like a menu you’d see in any ol’ café!

If you happen to be booking travel for that last minute trip, don’t forget to check out the Kimpton Hotels website. See if they’re in a city you’re exploring, you wont be disappointed!
