Sam + Drew’s San Francisco backyard wedding was like a secret garden daydream!

Y’all! When I say backyard wedding in San Francisco, what I really mean is trendsetting reception on the grounds of a private residence. Gorgeous white flowers everywhere, perfectly manicured lawns, greenery, and towering trees framing their ceremony! The private residence is actually home to the parents of the bride. I love how that made their wedding day feel so intimate and personal!

Sam is 1 of 4 sisters, she reached out to me after I photographed her sister’s wedding a year before her big day! I was so excited to hear from her and overjoyed to be at yet another amazing celebration with this beautiful family.

Sam + Drew’s wedding was not a single-ounce short of style. If I had to describe Sam + Drew’s day I would say that it was timeless and romantic with modern touches and heaps of serious fun! Oh, can we talk about the escort cards for a second? Each guest was given a gorgeous glass bottle of herb-infused olive oil. The guests’ names were written in calligraphy on white cards that were dangling from the cork. How fun is that!? Those glass bottles looked so pretty all lined up at the welcome table and even more gorgeous on the long reception tables next to the flawless place settings!

One of my favorite moments from Sam + Drew’s wedding has to be the way that Sam looked up at Drew when she finally met him at the altar. Seriously, my heart nearly exploded!
