Cafe’ Valentino with Chriselle Lim
A Paris Cafe’, Chriselle Lim , & Valentino = a photographer’s dream. I love making photogrpahs in Paris becaouse every street corner is inspiring. The streets and Cafe’ just ache with history and soul. It truly is just a feeling of artisitic inspiration.
I could talk about that for days so I wil move on to my photo tips.
For 10 days I shot Paris Fashion Week. Very different from weddings while very much like weddings. Different becaouse the angles and the apeture are different for fashion and same the same in the way that things move very quickly, you have to get the shot, and your light is changing all of the time so therefore you have to know what you are doing.
My photo tip for shooting fashion is to try shooting from a lower angle. You have to hit that sweet spot or you will make your model look larger. Your goal is to elongate her. Also try shooting at 5.6 or higher . Its important to get all of the outfit details in focus.
My DIY idea is inspired by this Valentino white button down. I mean how easy would it be to DIY this shirt! Just buy a white button down and glue some valention inspired stones on the cuffs. It was just so chic and you could wear it with anything!
I probably will not get around to making this top but if its your kinda thing I think you should get on that today!
Hope you enjoyed Cafe’ Valentino!
Stay Inspired!
