When Elsa and Jerome found Malibu Rocky Oaks they knew this was the venue to share their timeless love with their closest family and friends! Kristin Alexander at Esoteric Events planned this elegant evening and it was beyond amazing. Elsa and Jerome both work in the fashion industry with extremely busy schedules so they knew bringing on a team would really help them execute each detail flawlessly! A black tie evening wont get more elegant than the night Elsa and Jerome said “I do” in front of their family and friends.

Some of my favorite weddings are the ones that are shared with the couples closest family and friends. A wedding that small allows you to be an outsider but still feel the love shared between everyone. Jerome is originally from France and Elsa comes to LA from Belgium; so it meant a lot to them the ones who were able to make the small voyage from all around the world!

When Elsa was shopping for her dress, she knew it had to be something truly special. That wasn’t going to be something she would find in any ole’ boutique. Designer Noam Hanoch is a close friend of Elsa and Jerome (having worked with Jerome for 15 years!) and they knew it would be special to design a dress alongside him!

The details for this special day do not go unrecognized. The couple knew their wedding day should feel more like “home” than your typical venue. One detail in particular that was extremely important to these two was the floral design. They wanted to create a romantic atmosphere with candles and chandeliers. Malibu Rocky Oaks is a privately owned estate in the Santa Monica Mountains that feels like a destination wedding but is only a short drive from Los Angeles!

The entire night of Elsa and Jerome’s wedding I felt the love and romance these two share with each other. Photographing weddings at Malibu Rocky Oaks will always be one of my favorites (I’ve blogged about it so many times and it’s the best)  because each couple puts their own style into it and is always exceptional.  I wish these two nothing but love and happiness together!
