The Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding | Lauren & Max
Lauren & Max’s Resort at Pelican Hill Wedding was absolutely heartwarming, unique, and full of style!
Y’all! There were so many details perfectly weaved throughout this entire wedding day, I don’t even know where to start! The morning of the wedding began with the usual hustle and bustle of getting glammed while the bride and groom slipped into their best day ever attire. Ahem.. a Galia Lahav bridal gown for the beautiful Lauren!
From there, Lauren had a first look with her Dad, seriously the sweetest! And of course, one with her husband-to-be, Max. When you see the look of pure joy on Max’s face at the sight of his bride, I’m telling you, your heart is going to absolutely explode!
When it was time for Lauren and Max to say I do, their ceremony was full of so many personal, deeply meaningful elements. The ceremony processional began with Max and his groomsmen walking down the aisle to Ghost by Justin Bieber. Max and each of his groomsmen carried a single white rose which was then placed on a chair in the front row set up in honor of Max’s mom. It was such a beautiful way to honor her spirit.

Next Lauren’s Mom and Grandma escorted each other down the aisle to Dancing in the Moonlight, they were then followed by the bridal party. Lastly, it was time for Lauren and her Dad to make their grand entrance. The instrumental version of “Can’t Help Falling in Love” played while her Dad proudly walked her down the aisle. At the end of the aisle, Lauren laid her all-white bridal bouquet on the chair reserved for Max’s mom. I’m telling y’all, there was so much love and beauty in those very personal moments.
After they said I do, Lauren and Max did something a little bit different in the way of their wedding day timeline. They joined their guests for cocktail hour. How much do you love that!? You don’t have to spend your cocktail hour snapping photos. We can work together on a timeline for your wedding day portraits that works best for you. So if you want to spend time with your guests enjoying cocktails and getting the celebration started right after you say I do, then we will absolutely make it happen!
The bride and groom’s reception was all about fabulous details and delicious eats! You have never seen so many gorgeous white orchids gathered all in one place as you will for this wedding reception! Their floral arrangements, seating, and decor were styled to perfection in black and white. Their contrasting color palette made their wedding day chic, stylish, and formal, but also very modern! They spent the night enjoying a plated dinner, hitting the dance floor, and then treating their guests to late-night bites in the form of a Smores Bar & Beignet station before In-N-Out rolled up to the venue and guests snacked until 1am! How is that for an epic wedding day?! And if you are here for the bridal fashion, be sure to check out Lauren’s “reception” dress!
