Jana you are an inspiration. Love your work. Im a novice and having a lot trouble with studio lighting. Personally I prefer natural light but there are times studio lighting is necessary. Continuous lighting I can figure out, it’s flash photography that is a pain in the butt. Any advice or tips would really help. Thank you.

I use in studio flash for fashion lookbooks only. Any other time my go to is continuous and natural light.

Hi Jana, than you for responding so quickly. My neice is in competitive dancing and I wanted to capture some of her moves (mid air) in studio with a dark background. I was going for strong images with wow factor. Needless to say it was not a fun experience, the results were blown out photos with was suppose to be a black background turned to an ugly brown.

Hi Jana! I recently have started shooting in manual to try to up my game with product photography for my online shop! Your youtube videos have been such a great help for me! Do you have a post or video regarding shooting in sunny light (like above)? That’s one thing I really struggle with!
